Severus Snape at work

a fanart of a fanart ;o)

I don't like curtains, so most of our numerous windows are decorated with some WindowColor pictures to prevent birds colliding with the panes. In most cases, I use celtic-ish mandalas for this purpose. In addition, I wanted some light visual cover for our study, as I'm in direct view from some windows of the opposite building when sitting at my desk.
I started with some  floral ornaments in stratecigal places, done in WiCo, thinking of them as some ingredients Snape would use in a potion. Soon after, I saw  Shadowycat's lovely Snape fanarts of Snape at work and decided to give it a try using them as WiCo patterns. This is the result:

My desk is at the right of that window. Usually, the blinds are halfway down so I have better contrast at my monitor. The bird-protecting WiCo in this case is a castle I dubbed Hogwarts, as the study is the place where my Snape and Minerva fanarts are hanging as well as certain film posters. My husband and me agreed keeping anything visually "Harry Potter" strictly to the study ;o).

My WiCos are, sadly, much less detailed and refined than Shadowycat's artwork, as I didn't use any additional tools using WiCo at the time which enables to draw finer lines. Still, they do the trick and I can see Snape at work every time I look out of the window *lol*.
